The EV Vehicle according to Financial Times (8-october-2021)

This summer the Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD sent his red Tang sport utility vehicles to Norway, this country has been the fastest to get the batteries powered by lithium, they think that this technology will be one of the best. They say that they understand the chinese will come back and take a big part of cars in Norway but they also said that no one drives 4000km for his job in a year, they fell the quality is good because if you want to buy a tesla, it will costs double. BYD was founded in 1995 and today is one of the biggest producers of batteries for electric vehicles. This is because they use a lot of abundant materials such as the lithium and iron. Manthiram says that the electric vehicles with this battery will increase long distance in one charge. China's dominance in electric batteries is amazing and it's expected that 77% of lithinium production will be located in China by the end of this year according to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence. The question is: They are going to have a big market for their batteries?. Ji Shi says that is easier to be succesful in electronic vehicles than combustible vehicles because the combustile vehicles have a harder production in batteries. In addition to its plans to export cars, BYD has been talking with Tesla to supply batteries for them That could make it one of the most valuable battery suppliers, and increase theChinese dominance of the electric car industry. Sam Jaffe says that China is only in the early stages to become a big car exporter, especially electric cars. Most electric car batteries outside china uses cobalt and niquel, this favors the Chinese company because the lithium is easier to get than the other materials. According to BYD, the batteries can be easily recicled and can run for more than 1m kilometres of driving. During a standard test where a nail was driven into the battery, the battery didn't emit smoke or something similar, only reaching a temperature between 30ºC to 60ºC, when the temperature of other electric cars rose to 500ºC and burnt.

The software engineer will fix your car now according to Financial Times (8-october-2021)

Imagine that It's 2030 and your electric vehicle has developed an annoying problem of going to the right. A few years back, when your last combustible car start doing something similar, a local mechanic solves this annoying problem in half an hour. But in 2030, as the car is electric, it's a software glicth. A patch is sent in the internet, and the problem is done, Just imagine it. Demand of electrics cars is going up and we are nearly to a big change. One area that will be heavly affected is the components industry. After all if car manufacturers aren’t able to differentiate them by designing more powerful engines, they will have to compete making cars more attractive. Some of them are working with component producers to be able to compete in this market. As there are more electric cars that have software, software ingeneers will be more in demand because the car will become like a computer, but with wheels. This is not only good as the mechanics will have less work, the change will be gradual because the petrol and diesel cars will be not avaliable after 2030, they will begin to disappear.
